It is the generosity of many that builds a stronger, more caring community for all of us to live, work, grow, and play.

Through grant making, we provide financial support to local registered charitable organizations across the Bow Valley.

You make your community and your community makes you! Come celebrate community with us throughout the year.

Our Mission

Engaging hearts and minds to build a stronger community

“Our community is bigger than Banff – the 2013 flood made that obvious. Our community truly does stretch from Lake Louise to the edge of the mountains in Exshaw. We live in one town and work in another. Our kids play sports in one village and go to school in another. We buy pottery in one town – thanks to artists like Mayor Borrowman, and we visit the other for our annual mountain film fest – thanks to The Banff Centre. We gather in Lake Louise to cheer on our Alpine Racers.
We gather in Canmore to cheer on our Nordic Racers. And we gather in Kananaskis to just go skiing and hiking. We are one valley, one big mountain community and we have much in common.”
